30hop is seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager in Ankeny, IA to lead our back-of-house team and uphold high standards of food quality and service. This hands-on role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a focus on teamwork to drive kitchen performance.

The position offers full-time and part-time hours with competitive pay starting at $20–$23 per hour, based on experience, and a benefits program including meals, discounts, EAP, and health coverage.

Qualifikationen

• Must have professional kitchen experience.
• Previous kitchen leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, with or without accommodation.
• Comfortable working around heat, steam and commercial kitchen equipment.

Aufgaben

• Lead, train, and supervise kitchen staff including cooks and dishwashers.
• Assist with employee scheduling and labor monitoring.
• Foster a positive work environment and provide coaching and feedback.
• Maintain high standards for food quality, consistency and presentation.
• Oversee food preparation, kitchen cleanliness, sanitation, and safety.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and food waste to control costs.
• Monitor food and labor costs to support efficiency and profitability.
• Ensure compliance with health regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized kitchen and functioning equipment.
• Communicate with management and kitchen staff for smooth service.
• Complete required kitchen documentation and records.
• Other duties as assigned.
