Milwaukee Burger Company in Wisconsin is hiring a Kitchen Manager to lead a fast-paced scratch kitchen, ensuring quality, safety, and guest satisfaction while upholding our standards. You will coach and develop cooks, manage scheduling, inventory, and costs, and model a culture of teamwork and accountability.

We seek 2+ years of kitchen management in a high-volume restaurant, strong leadership and communication, and a hands-on, nights/weekends capable leader.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of kitchen management experience in a full-service, high-volume restaurant.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Passion for scratch cooking, quality, and guest satisfaction.
• Experience managing labor, food costs, inventory, and scheduling.
• Ability to recruit, train, mentor, and retain top talent.
• Hands-on leader who isn't afraid to jump on the line.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead all daily kitchen operations with a focus on food quality, safety, and consistency
• Coach, train, schedule, and develop Line Cooks, Prep Cooks, and Dishwashers
• Lead by example by working alongside your team during service
• Maintain food, labor, and operating costs while achieving financial goals
• Oversee inventory, ordering, receiving, storage, and product rotation
• Ensure recipe execution, portion control, presentation, and ticket times
• Maintain sanitation, cleanliness, and health department standards
• Build a positive, accountable culture centered around teamwork and growth
