Job summary

Milwaukee Burger Company is seeking a Kitchen Manager to lead our scratch kitchen and build an incredible team. We’re Wisconsin to the core, known for award-winning burgers, cheese curds, and genuine hospitality.

As Kitchen Manager you’ll oversee daily operations, coach cooks, control labor and food costs, manage inventory, and ensure safety and sanitation. Join a high-energy team that values quality and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of kitchen management experience in a full-service, high-volume restaurant.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience managing labor, food costs, inventory and scheduling.
• Hands-on leader who can jump on the line.
• Available to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily kitchen operations with focus on food quality, safety and consistency.
• Coach, train, schedule and develop Line Cooks, Prep Cooks and Dishwashers.
• Lead by example by working alongside the team during service.
• Maintain food, labor and operating costs while achieving financial goals.
• Oversee inventory, ordering, receiving, storage and product rotation.
• Ensure recipe execution, portion control, presentation and ticket times.
• Maintain sanitation, cleanliness and health department standards.
• Build a positive, accountable culture centered around teamwork and growth.
