Job summary

AC&T Co. Inc. is seeking a Kitchen Manager at Halfway Travel Center in Hagerstown, MD. You will lead all kitchen operations, prepare meals, and ensure prompt, courteous service while upholding AC&T standards.

The role requires 18+ years old, English proficiency, and the ability to work flexible hours including weekends. Previous restaurant experience is preferred; benefits are available for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Be at least eighteen years of age or have a work permit.
• Be able to speak, read, understand and write the English language.
• Be able to lift and move items up to 20 pounds and tolerate routine exposure to cleaning products.
• Must be willing to work weekends, holidays and extended hours when necessary.
• Restaurant experience: 1 year (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Oversee all kitchen operations and food prep.
• Maintain customer relations and service quality.
• Coordinate with Store Manager and manage inventory.
• Control vendor relations during shifts and protect company assets.
• Ensure cleanliness and adherence to state food service regulations.
