Job summary

AC&T Co. Inc. is hiring a Kitchen Associate in Hancock, MD to prepare fresh meals for customers while upholding quality and service standards.

You will work under the Kitchen Manager, handle prep, cooking on stove/oven/steamer, manage inventories and maintain a clean, safe kitchen in compliance with state regulations.

The role requires at least 18 years old, English proficiency and willingness to work weekends, with hourly pay of $16.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old or have a valid work permit.
• Able to speak, read, understand and write English.
• Lift and move a 20 lb fire extinguisher and operate safely.
• Able to tolerate exposure to gasoline fumes and cleaning products.
• Able to work in a cooler at 38°F for up to 15 minutes.
• Willing to work weekends, holidays and extended hours when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Maintain customer relations and service.
• Coordinate with Store/Kitchen Manager.
• Maintain inventory and store records.
• Handle vendor control during shift.
• Keep kitchen clean according to standards.
• Follow state regulations for food service.
• Prepare and cook items, bake and prep salads and cakes.
