Job summary

AC&T Co. Inc. is seeking a Convenience Store Manager to direct store operations at the Halfway Travel Center in Hagerstown, MD. The role oversees staff, inventory, and customer service to ensure safe, profitable operations aligned with AC&T policies.

The position reports to the District Manager and requires leadership of store teams, adherence to policies, and effective merchandising and cost controls. Salary is $50,000–$55,000 per year with benefits.

Qualifications

• Be able to speak, read, understand and write the English language.
• Be able to perform mathematical calculations to make change and compute shift reports.
• Be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stock shelves as needed.
• Be able to recruit, interview and supervise store employees.

Responsibilities

• May recruit, interview, screen and recommend hiring, suspending, demoting, promoting and terminating store employees.
• Conduct initial training and ongoing retraining of staff on policies and procedures.
• Evaluate employee performance and issue reprimands and recommendations for raises.
• Enforce AC&T policies and supervise store operations and staff meetings.
• Analyze reports to spot sales trends and take corrective actions.
