Job summary

LONGBOARDS WILLIAMSBURG is seeking a hands-on Kitchen Manager/Chef to lead our back-of-house team and execute the established menu exceptionally well. You will build a strong BOH team, manage inventory, and ensure consistent quality across plates and shifts.

As a working leader, you will maintain standards, coach staff, and collaborate with FOH ownership to deliver a smooth operation. There is room for creativity after fundamentals are solid, with performance-based bonuses and equity potential

Qualifications

• Has kitchen leadership or management experience (must lead a busy service).
• Can run an organized, efficient line during busy service.
• Understands inventory, ordering and food-cost management.

Responsibilities

• Execute established menu and recipes consistently.
• Manage ticket times, food quality, presentation and portions.
• Oversee BOH staffing and weekly scheduling, hiring, onboarding and training.
• Coach and develop the kitchen team; perform weekly inventory and ordering.
• Maintain food cost, waste control and portion accuracy.
