Job summary

Hash Kitchen Webster is seeking a Kitchen Manager to lead the back of house for a high-volume breakfast-through-lunch concept. You will own recipes to spec, manage food cost, and build a capable BOH team with a focus on consistent quality.

This role offers a base salary of $65,000–$75,000 with a bonus potential up to $6,500, plus health and other benefits. You’ll enjoy evenings off while delivering scratch cooking and a chef-driven menu.

Qualifications

• 3+ years leading a kitchen in a high-volume, full-service setting.
• Ability to hold a food cost target and explain movements.
• Ability to teach a line cook; culinary school not required.
• In-depth knowledge of kitchen health and safety regulations.
• ServSafe and Food Manager's certification (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Own the back of house: recipes to spec, ticket times, plate quality, and consistency across breakfast, brunch, and lunch.
• Own food cost: ordering, receiving, storage, waste, and inventory; review weekly with GM.
• Build the BOH team: hire, train, schedule, and develop cooks and prep staff.
• Maintain a bench deep enough to handle callouts without impacting service.
