Job summary

Lucky Strike Entertainment in Milpitas, CA seeks a Kitchen Manager to lead the back of house and drive quality across events and service periods. You will manage line operations, develop the BOH team, and ensure cost control while maintaining top culinary standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of kitchen leadership experience including banquet and event service.
• Ability to lead from the line and manage high-volume operations.
• Experience building BOH teams with cost controls and standards.
• ServSafe certification or ability to obtain certification.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Run kitchen operations focusing on food quality, speed, sanitation, and consistency.
• Train and develop BOH team in a fast-paced environment.
• Work on prep and service line to set standard by example.
• Manage food cost, labor, inventory, waste and ordering to hit targets.
• Maintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, health codes, and standards.
• Partner with Operations and Executive Chef on menu rollouts and standards.

Overview

The Role

As a Kitchen Manager at Lucky Strike Entertainment, you will lead the back of house from the line, develop your BOH team, manage costs, and execute food quality consistently across every service period and event.

What You’ll Do

• Run kitchen operations with a focus on food quality, speed, sanitation, and consistent execution across all service periods
• Train, coach, and develop BOH team members to perform at a high level in a fast‑paced environment
• Work the line alongside your team during prep, service, and events, setting the standard through your own execution
• Manage food cost, labor, inventory, waste, and ordering to hit financial targets
• Maintain full compliance with food safety, sanitation, health codes, and operational standards
• Partner with Operations and the Executive Chef on menu rollouts, product consistency, and culinary standards

What You’ll Bring

• 3 or more years of kitchen leadership experience including banquet and event service
• A culinary skill set that lets you lead from the line, not just from the office
• Experience building and developing BOH teams in high‑volume environments
• Solid financial acumen including food cost management, labor control, and waste reduction
• Current or ability to obtain ServSafe certification
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards in high‑volume kitchen operations
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays

The pay rate for this position is $65,000 to $75,000 annually.
