Job summary

Lucky Strike Entertainment in Council Bluffs, IA, is seeking a Kitchen Manager to lead back-of-house operations, develop the BOH team, manage costs, and ensure consistent food quality across events.

You will train staff, control food costs and waste, and ensure compliance with safety standards while collaborating with the Executive Chef on menu rollouts.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of kitchen leadership experience including banquet and event service.
• Ability to lead from the line, not just from the office.
• Experience building and developing BOH teams in high-volume environments.
• Solid financial acumen including food cost management, labor control, and waste reduction.
• Current ServSafe certification or the ability to obtain one.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards in high-volume kitchen operations.
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Train, coach, and develop BOH team members to perform at a high level in a fast-paced environment
• Work the line alongside your team during prep, service, and events, setting the standard through your own execution

• Maintain full compliance with food safety, sanitation, health codes, and operational standards
• Partner with Operations and the Executive Chef on menu rollouts, product consistency, and culinary standards
