Job summary

Lucky Strike Entertainment in Cerritos, CA is seeking a Kitchen Manager to lead back-of-house operations, develop the BOH team, manage costs, and ensure top food quality across service periods and events.

You will work on the line with your team during prep, service, and events, upholding culinary standards and consistency. Strong leadership and cost-control experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of kitchen leadership experience including banquet and event service.
• Culinary skill set to lead from the line.
• Experience building and developing BOH teams in high-volume environments.
• Solid financial acumen including food cost management, labor control, and waste reduction.
• Current or ability to obtain ServSafe certification.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards in high-volume kitchen operations.

Responsibilities

• Train, coach, and develop BOH team members to perform at a high level in a fast-paced environment.
• Work the line alongside your team during prep, service, and events, setting the standard through your own execution.
• Manage food cost, labor, inventory, waste, and ordering to hit financial targets.
• Maintain full compliance with food safety, sanitation, health codes, and operational standards.
• Partner with Operations and the Executive Chef on menu rollouts, product consistency, and culinary standards.

The Role
