BRIEF DESCRIPTION:Performs large scale quantity cooking, plans food preparation and cooking schedules based on menu requirements. Performs and/or supervises a variety of cooking tasks. Prepares and cooks meats, vegetables, salads and other foods using a variety of preparation and cooking methods. Supervises assigned kitchen personnel in routine food preparation, food service, and cleaning tasks. May also keep records and requisition supplies. Supervises and participates in duties of the kitchen as assigned by the Director of Food Services. Complete a minimum of ten (10) hours of annual continuing/education/training will be required during the 2026-2027 school year.

Experience managing/supervising kitchen personnel, preferred
Regularly lift up to 30 pounds and frequently 40 pounds
Able to perform physical work efficiently, with long periods of standing, twisting, and bending
Occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop kneel or crouch
Able to quickly and accurately fulfill customer orders and requests
Ability to use the Point-of-Service (POS) system with daily use, inventory, etc.
Be able to reconcile daily income sheets and make bank deposits
Works as a team member in a professional and positive manner
SALARY:Salary Range per Teamsters Local Union contract - $26.78 - $27.58 per hour
