Doherty's Irish Pub & Restaurant in Holly Springs is hiring a hands-on Kitchen Manager to lead our Back of House team. This role is responsible for keeping the kitchen clean, organized, well staffed, and ready for service while ensuring consistent food quality, strong ticket times, food safety, inventory control, labor management, and team development.
Lead, coach, schedule, and develop the BOH team.
Maintain Doherty's standards for food quality, prep, portioning, plating, cleanliness, and hospitality.
Work closely with the General Manager, Executive Chef, and leadership team to run a high-performing kitchen.
Create a kitchen culture built on accountability, teamwork, organization, and pride in the product.
Lead daily kitchen operations and keep the BOH team organized, productive, and prepared.
Train, coach, and hold team members accountable for performance, cleanliness, food safety, and teamwork.
Ensure food is prepared and served to Doherty's standards for quality, portion, presentation, temperature, and consistency.
Manage prep levels, ticket times, kitchen flow, receiving, storage, labeling, rotation, and inventory counts.
Control food cost, waste, product usage, and BOH labor without compromising quality or service.
Maintain health department, food-safety, sanitation, equipment, and communication standards.
3+ years of restaurant kitchen leadership experience preferred.
Experience with BOH leadership, food safety, inventory, food cost, labor, and high-volume service.
$65,000-$75,000 annual salary, based on experience and qualifications.
