Hope the Mission in Los Angeles is seeking a Kitchen Logistics Manager to oversee inventory, receiving, storage, and packaging for HTM's kitchen operations. This role ensures the kitchen runs smoothly by maintaining accurate records and coordinating with the culinary team.

Reporting to the Director of Food Services, the position emphasizes preventing waste, reducing spoilage, and ensuring timely deliveries across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-volume food service, warehouse, or logistics preferred.
• Experience supervising staff or coordinating delivery operations preferred.
• Familiarity with FIFO inventory principles and stock rotation.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation standards in inventory.
• Experience with packaging, labeling, and cold storage management preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee receiving process for kitchen supplies including dry goods, perishables, and equipment.
• Inspect incoming shipments for quality and accuracy.
• Maintain records of items received with quantity, quality, and expiration dates.
• Conduct monthly inventory counts.
• Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate stock for daily operations.
• Coordinate with the Executive Chef and Senior Director of Food Services.
