Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to ensure high-quality food preparation and safe kitchen operations. You will train Crew members, manage food ordering, and help drive a positive customer experience in a fast-paced setting.

You will mentor teammates, uphold Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy, and lead by example in a busy, hands-on kitchen. This role emphasizes teamwork, quality, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Ability to speak, write, and understand the primary language of the work location.
• Restaurant experience preferred.
• Able to stand on feet for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food to order, following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food quality, waste, and inventory levels; resolve issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house.
• Develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew members and customers to ensure great service.
• Keep kitchen clean, sanitized, and well organized; maintain equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety guidelines to prevent injuries.
• Complete MSDS and FIFO inventory procedures.
