Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn how to prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables while training Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders. You’ll ensure the quality and safety of our food, and that the kitchen is clean, organized, and well stocked to deliver a great customer experience.

Qualifications

• Have the ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Have the knowledge and ability to speak, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.
• Have a high school diploma.
• Have restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Following Chipotle policies and procedures, ensure food quality by cooking and prepping to order.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels, resolve quality issues.
• Support strong team dynamics between back of house and front of house crews.
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew members and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Ensure the kitchen is cleaned and sanitized, and equipment is maintained.
