Job summary

PLANTA is seeking a Kitchen Leader (Sous Chef level) to join our leadership team at our Bethesda location. You will oversee the kitchen alongside the Executive Chef, driving quality food and service while taking on additional responsibilities as needed.

Responsibilities

• Champion hospitality by creating a welcoming, positive environment for guests and staff.
• Oversee product preparation, presentation and service to meet restaurant standards.
• Help achieve profitability by managing food, waste, and labor costs and controlling expenses.
• Plan shifts with team members and ensure proper staffing across stations.
• Train and supervise culinary team members in skills and techniques.
