Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader in Muskegon, MI. You will learn to prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables, while training others to become future Kitchen Leaders.

The role focuses on ensuring quality, safety, cleanliness, inventory control, and a strong team culture to deliver an excellent customer experience. You’ll lead by example, coordinate between back-of-house and front-of-house teams, and help meet daily station goals with a hands-on, fast-paced approach

Qualifications

• Have the knowledge and ability to speak, write, and understand the primary language of the work location.
• Have a high school diploma.
• Have restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Following Chipotle’s policies and procedures and overseeing food quality by cooking and prepping food to order.
• Monitor food waste and inventory, resolve food quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house Crew.
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate with Crew members and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Ensure the kitchen is clean, sanitized, and properly stocked.
• Maintain equipment and arrange repairs as needed to keep operations smooth.
• Ensure compliance with safety guidelines to prevent injuries or accidents.
• Fill out MSDS and Inventory Rotation (FIFO).
