Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is hiring a Kitchen Leader in Sterling, VA. You will learn to prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables while training others to become future Kitchen Leaders. You will help ensure quality, safety, cleanliness, and efficient service in a fast-paced kitchen.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Restaurant experience is required.
• Ability to understand Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food quality by cooking and prepping to order and following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels, and resolve food quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back-of-house Crew and front-of-house Crew.
• Develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate with Crew members and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Ensure the kitchen is cleaned and sanitized and equipment is maintained.
• Make sure MSDS and FIFO are properly filled out.
