Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn and supervise food preparation, train Crew members, and ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and safely.

You will oversee cooking, inventory, and equipment maintenance to deliver delicious meals and a positive guest experience. You will lead a dynamic back-of-house team, uphold Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy, and model outstanding customer service while promoting teamwork.

Qualifications

• Restaurant experience is required.
• High school diploma is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food quality by cooking and prepping food to order and following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels and resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house Crew.
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate with Crew members and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Ensure kitchen is clean and sanitized.
• Monitor equipment and ensure it is maintained; repair when needed.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed to prevent injuries or accidents.
• Complete MSDS and FIFO documentation.
