Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill in Syosset, NY is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn and master food preparation, grilling of meats, and sautéing vegetables while training Crew to become future Kitchen Leaders.

You will promote teamwork, ensure high quality and safe food, and maintain a clean, well-stocked kitchen, all while delivering a great customer experience. This role offers growth opportunities and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Must understand Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Ability to speak, write, and understand the primary language of the work location (English).
• High school diploma required.
• Restaurant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor inventory and food waste; resolve quality issues.
• Support back-of-house and front-of-house team dynamics.
• Develop Crew members toward future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew and customers to ensure great service.
• Keep the kitchen clean, sanitized, and well stocked.
• Maintain equipment and ensure safety guidelines are followed.
• Assist with MSDS and inventory rotation.
