Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is hiring a Kitchen Leader to learn and oversee food preparation, grill meats, and sauté vegetables while keeping the kitchen clean, stocked, and safe. You will train Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders and help deliver a great customer experience as part of a collaborative team.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to food safety standards, and operating efficiently in a fast-paced environment, with opportunities for advancement within the company.

Qualifications

• Understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Speak, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food quality by cooking and prepping to order and following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory, resolving quality issues.
• Support teamwork between back-of-house and front-of-house Crew.
• Develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew members and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Keep the kitchen clean, sanitized, and well maintained; ensure equipment is in good repair.
• Follow MSDS and FIFO procedures.
