Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn and supervise food preparation, grilling, and sautéing to deliver delicious, safe meals. You will order food, train Crew, and help develop future Kitchen Leaders while upholding Chipotle’s standards.

You’ll foster teamwork, ensure cleanliness and proper inventory, and keep equipment in good repair. This on-site role emphasizes safety and an excellent customer experience, with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Restaurant experience required.
• Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Ability to speak, write, and understand the primary language of the work location.

Responsibilities

• Prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables to order.
• Ensure food quality and safety, keep kitchen clean and well stocked.
• Train and develop Crew to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Promote teamwork between back of house and front of house Crew.
• Maintain equipment and ensure smooth operation of the kitchen.
• Support a safe work environment and follow MSDS and FIFO procedures.
