Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn to prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables. You will train Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders and ensure quality and safety of our delicious offerings every day.

You will help keep the kitchen clean, organized, and well stocked, while promoting teamwork and delivering a great customer experience. Strong communication and a high school diploma are required, with restaurant experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Speak, write, and understand the primary language of the work location.
• Have a high school diploma.
• Have restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels; resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house Crews.
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew members and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Keep the kitchen clean, sanitized, and well stocked; maintain equipment.
