Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill in Steubenville, OH is seeking a proactive Kitchen Leader to oversee food preparation, quality, and safety while guiding Crew members toward future leadership roles. You will manage kitchen operations, train staff, and ensure a smooth, delicious guest experience.

As a Kitchen Leader, you’ll maintain cleanliness, stock, equipment, and safety standards, and work to promote teamwork and efficiency across the kitchen and dining areas.

Qualifications

• Restaurant experience or familiarity with fast-casual cooking
• Ability to train others and lead a team
• Understanding of food safety and quality standards

Responsibilities

• Preparing food to order and following kitchen procedures
• Monitoring food quality and inventory and resolving issues
• Supporting a strong team dynamic between back-of-house and front-of-house Crew
• Developing Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders
• Communicating effectively with Crew and customers to ensure great service and throughput
• Maintaining kitchen cleanliness and sanitation
• Handling equipment maintenance and reporting malfunctions
• Ensuring safety guidelines are followed to prevent injuries
• Filling out MSDS and FIFO inventories
