Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill in Hingham, MA is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn how to prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables while training others to become future Kitchen Leaders.

You will ensure food quality and safety, maintain a clean and stocked kitchen, monitor equipment, and promote teamwork to create an outstanding customer experience. The role emphasizes leadership, efficiency, and initiative in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Have the knowledge and ability to speak, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.
• Have a high school diploma.
• Have restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Follow Chipotle policies and procedures and lead by example.
• Cook and prep food to order and follow kitchen procedures.
• Monitor waste and inventory and resolve food quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house.
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew members and customers to ensure great service.
• Keep the kitchen clean, sanitized, and well stocked; maintain equipment in good condition.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed to prevent injuries; complete MSDS and FIFO tasks.
