Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill in Yorktown, VA is hiring a Kitchen Leader to learn and lead food preparation, grill meats, and sauté vegetables, while mentoring Crew to become future Kitchen Leaders.

You'll ensure food quality, safety, cleanliness, and stock levels, while promoting teamwork between back-of-house and front-of-house teams, and delivering a great guest experience. Competitive pay and benefits included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Restaurant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food quality by cooking and prepping to order.
• Monitor food waste and inventory and resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house Crew and front of house Crew.
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate with Crew members and customers effectively to ensure great service.
• Ensure the kitchen is properly cleaned and sanitized.
• Monitor kitchen equipment and ensure it is kept in good repair; repair issues promptly.
• Ensure that the kitchen and Crew meet safety guidelines to prevent injuries or accidents.
• Complete MSDS documentation and FIFO inventory rotations.
