Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill in Charlottesville, VA, is hiring a Kitchen Leader to learn and execute high‑quality food preparation, grill meats, and saute vegetables. You will order food, train Crew members, and model teamwork to ensure an outstanding customer experience.

You will ensure food safety, kitchen cleanliness, inventory control, and equipment maintenance while mentoring the team toward future Kitchen Leader roles. A high school diploma and restaurant experience are required.

Qualifications

• Restaurant experience required.
• Ability to follow Chipotle policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor waste and inventory and resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house.
• Develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew members and customers to ensure great service.
• Keep the kitchen clean, sanitized, and well maintained.
• Ensure equipment is in good repair and safe to use.
• Help prevent injuries by following safety guidelines.
• Complete MSDS and FIFO records as needed.
