Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader in Roanoke, VA. You will learn to prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables, while training others to become future Kitchen Leaders. You’ll ensure quality, safety, and a great customer experience in a fast-paced kitchen.

Responsibilities include maintaining a clean, stocked kitchen, following procedures, and promoting teamwork across the Crew. This role emphasizes hands-on leadership and hands-on training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Restaurant experience required.
• Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Must speak the primary language of the work location.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order, ensuring quality and safety.
• Train Crew to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Foster teamwork between back-of-house and front-of-house teams.
• Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked kitchen; ensure equipment is in good condition.
• Communicate effectively with Crew and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Keep kitchen sanitized and follow safety guidelines.
• Monitor equipment and ensure quick repairs when needed.
• Complete MSDS forms and manage FIFO inventory.
