Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill in Florence, SC is seeking a Kitchen Leader to oversee food preparation, train Crew members, and ensure consistent, high-quality meals. You’ll order ingredients, supervise line cooks, and guide teammates to become future Kitchen Leaders.

The role emphasizes teamwork, customer satisfaction, and maintaining a clean, safe kitchen. The Kitchen Leader will model Chipotle’s standards, ensure proper stock and equipment maintenance, and contribute to a positive dining experience

Qualifications

• Understands Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Speaks, writes, and understands the primary language of the work location.
• High school diploma is required.
• Restaurant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food quality by cooking and prepping to order and following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor inventory and food waste and resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back-of-house and front-of-house Crew.
• Develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Keep the kitchen clean, sanitized, and organized.
• Monitor equipment and ensure repairs when needed.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed to prevent injuries.
• Complete MSDS and FIFO documentation as required.
