Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn to prep great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables while training Crew to become future Kitchen Leaders. You will ensure quality and safety of our delicious food daily, keep the kitchen clean and stocked, and model teamwork to deliver an outstanding customer experience.

On the clock you’ll stay active, meet station goals, assist teammates, and uphold company policies to promote quality and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Speak, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.
• High school diploma.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory; resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong Crew team dynamic in back and front of house.
• Develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate with Crew members and customers to ensure great service.
• Keep the kitchen clean, sanitized, and well stocked.
• Ensure equipment is maintained and repaired promptly.
• Ensure safety guidelines to prevent injuries or accidents.
• Fill out MSDS and Inventory Rotation (FIFO).
