Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn how to prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables, ensuring dishes are delicious and safe. You will order food, train Crew to become future Kitchen Leaders, and maintain a clean, well-stocked kitchen with functioning equipment to support a top-notch guest experience.

You will collaborate with back‑of‑house and front‑of‑house teams to promote teamwork, meet station goals, and mentor teammates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Restaurant experience preferred.
• Ability to understand Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food quality by cooking and prepping to order and following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory and resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back-of-house and front-of-house Crews.
• Develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew and customers to ensure great service.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and sanitation; ensure equipment is in good repair.
