Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill in Heath, OH is hiring a Kitchen Leader to oversee food preparation, quality, and the daily operation of the kitchen. You will train Crew, manage stock levels, and ensure safety and sanitation while delivering an engaging guest experience.

You will lead by example, develop future Kitchen Leaders, and coordinate with back-of-house and front-of-house teams to meet daily goals while upholding Chipotle’s standards for quality and integrity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• Restaurant experience.
• Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Speak, write, and understand the primary language of the work location.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food quality by cooking and prepping food to order and following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels; resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house Crew and front of house Crew.
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate with Crew members and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Ensure the kitchen is cleaned and sanitized.
• Monitor kitchen equipment and ensure it is maintained; repair equipment quickly.
• Ensure the kitchen and Crew meet safety guidelines to prevent injuries.
