Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill in Ravenna, Ohio is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn how to prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables while training others to become future Kitchen Leaders. You will ensure food quality, safety, cleanliness, and proper stocking as you model teamwork and deliver a standout customer experience.

This role emphasizes hands-on cooking, inventory control, equipment maintenance, and staff development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Restaurant experience is required or preferred.
• Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Ability to speak, write, and understand English as the primary language of the work location.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food quality by cooking and prepping food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels; resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back-of-house and front-of-house Crew.
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew members and customers to ensure great service.
• Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and sanitized.
• Monitor equipment and arrange repairs to keep it in good condition.
• Ensure safety guidelines to prevent injuries or accidents.
• Complete MSDS sheets and inventory rotation (FIFO).
