Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill in Murrells Inlet, SC is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn how to prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables while ensuring every dish is absolutely delicious and safely prepared.

You will keep the kitchen clean, organized, well stocked, and properly maintained. You’ll train Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders and promote teamwork to deliver a standout customer experience every shift.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Ability to speak, write, and understand the primary language of the work location.
• High school diploma is required.
• Restaurant experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Following Chipotle’s policies and procedures, cook and prep food to order.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels; resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house Crews.
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate with Crew members and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Ensure the kitchen is clean, organized, and sanitized.
• Monitor kitchen equipment and ensure it is maintained and repaired quickly.
• Ensure all Crew members meet safety guidelines to prevent injuries or accidents.
• Fill out Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and Inventory Rotation (FIFO).
