Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill in Temple, PA is seeking a Kitchen Leader to train crews, cook to order, and keep the kitchen safe, clean, and stocked. You will lead by example, promote teamwork, and help develop future Kitchen Leaders while delivering great customer service.

You should have a high school diploma and restaurant experience, be able to communicate effectively with Crew and guests, and embrace Chipotle's Food With Integrity philosophy.

Qualifications

• Understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Able to speak, write, and understand the primary language of the work location.
• High school diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring food quality by cooking and prepping food to order and following kitchen procedures.
• Monitoring food waste and inventory levels, and resolving food quality issues.
• Supporting a strong team dynamic between back of house Crew and front of house Crew.
• Developing Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicating with Crew members and customers effectively to ensure great service and throughput.
• Ensuring the kitchen is cleaned and sanitized and equipment is maintained.
• Ensuring safety guidelines are followed to prevent injuries.
• Filling out MSDS and Inventory Rotation (FIFO).
