Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill in Harrisburg is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn how to prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables, train Crew to become future Kitchen Leaders, and uphold food quality and safety.

You will help maintain a clean, well-stocked kitchen and model teamwork to deliver a great customer experience. Restaurant experience and a high school diploma are required, with benefits including tuition assistance and free meals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Restaurant experience preferred.
• Ability to learn food safety and kitchen procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food quality by cooking and prepping food to order and following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels and resolve issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house Crew.
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate with Crew members and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Ensure kitchen is cleaned and sanitized.
• Maintain and repair kitchen equipment and ensure downtime is minimized.
• Ensure compliance with safety guidelines to prevent injuries.
• Fill out MSDS and inventory rotation (FIFO).
