Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill in Ashland, VA is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn cooking, grilling meats, and sautéing vegetables while training others to become future Kitchen Leaders. You will ensure food quality and safety, keep the kitchen organized and well stocked, and maintain equipment in good condition.

As a role model, you will promote teamwork, assist Crew members, and help deliver a great customer experience while staying active on your feet to meet station goals and support the team.

Qualifications

• Understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Speak, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.
• High school diploma required.
• Restaurant experience required.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food quality, waste, and inventory levels.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back-of-house and front-of-house crews.
• Develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew and customers to ensure great service.
