Alcove in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Kitchen Manager to lead a high-energy kitchen, mentor the team, and uphold exceptional food quality. You’ll own costs, scheduling, health and sanitation, and vendor relationships while modeling the standards you expect from your crew.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education preferred.
• 2+ years kitchen leadership and staff training in a high-volume restaurant.
• ServSafe PIC/Manager certified.
• Evening, weekend, and holiday availability; 45–50 hour weeks.
• Experience leading teams of 15+ employees and $40k+ weekly sales.
• Proficient with restaurant management platforms like R365, Toast, Google Suite.

Responsabilités

• Manage food costs, inventory, ordering, and vendor relations; report weekly metrics.
• Lead and develop kitchen team through onboarding, training, coaching.
• Maintain food quality and consistency with regular checks.
• Build and manage staff schedules based on forecasts and budget targets.
• Ensure health, safety, and sanitation standards; coordinate maintenance and repairs.
• Collaborate with Events for catering planning and on-site supervision.
