Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill in the United States is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn how to prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables. You are responsible for making sure our food is absolutely delicious. You’ll order the food and train others to become future Kitchen Leaders.

Qualifications

• Must have restaurant experience and understand kitchen operations.
• Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Ability to speak, write, and understand the primary language of the work location.

Responsibilities

• Follow policies and procedures; cook and prep food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor inventory and food quality; resolve quality issues.
• Support teamwork between back of house and front of house Crew.
• Develop Crew members into future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate with Crew members and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Ensure kitchen cleanliness, sanitation, and proper equipment maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with safety guidelines to prevent injuries.
• Maintain MSDS documentation and FIFO inventory processes.
