Job summary

Taher, Inc. is seeking a Lead Foodservice Worker to join our family-owned food service management team, focusing on K-12 school lunch programs in Missouri. You will supervise a team in a school kitchen, help prepare, serve, and clean up daily meals, and ensure high-quality, chef-created food for students.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience in a related role preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Proficient computer skills for daily tasks and documentation.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Schedules and assigns work to the team and oversees completion of tasks.
• Trains and guides staff on job duties, food safety, sanitation, and customer service.
• Prepares and builds food items according to standardized recipes and directions.
• Sets up condiments and utensil areas for the team.
• Breaks down, cleans and sanitizes work stations.
• Contributes to a positive work environment.
• Maintains professional appearance, attitude, and guest service.
