Job summary

Teller's Taproom & Kitchen in Lakewood, CO is seeking a Kitchen Lead to help manage a fast-paced, high-energy kitchen. You will work closely with the Kitchen Manager to ensure exceptional food quality, presentation and a positive team culture.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of kitchen leadership, strong food safety knowledge, and the ability to lead a team through busy shifts. This role offers competitive hourly pay and opportunities for growth within our restaurant group.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years kitchen leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to lead a team in a high-volume environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support the Kitchen Manager with daily kitchen operations
• Lead and coach line cooks and prep team members
• Ensure food quality, presentation, and consistency standards are met
• Always maintain food safety & sanitation standards
• Assist with scheduling, inventory, ordering, and food cost management
• Help train and develop team members
• Step into a leadership role during the Kitchen Manager's absence
• Foster a positive and accountable team culture
