Job summary

IHG Hotels is seeking an experienced Kitchen Supervisor to lead culinary operations, ensure quality and safety, and manage the kitchen line across shifts. The role involves expediting, planning specials, staff training, and handling inventories and schedules in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in a supervisory kitchen role, strong knowledge of food costs, and proficiency with POS systems and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience at supervisor/kitchen manager level or above.
• Experience in a restaurant similar in scope/style.
• Hands-on experience across most areas of the listed responsibilities.
• Passionate and humble about service; committed to quality.

Responsibilities

• Oversee culinary operations during shift, including expediting.
• Ensure consistent quality, timeliness, and safet y standards.
• Manage kitchen line using checklists; may open/close shift.
• Assist in planning weekly specials and staff meals.
• Train and support culinary staff; help train new staff.
• Perform line checks, inventories, orders, prep lists, staff schedules.
• Maintain sanitation and hygiene; ensure safe workplace.
• Handle admin tasks and equipment maintenance as needed.
