Job Summary
As a GetGo Kitchen Lead, you will exceed customer and Team Member needs and expectations by providing safe, efficient, accurate, and pleasant food service. You will also provide guidance and coaching to Team Members, ensuring the store runs smoothly. This role offers a fast track to store leadership — coaching, supervising, and leading the kitchen team, often on behalf of the Store Leader.
Job Description

- Experience Desired: Supervisory role and food service experience
- Education Desired: High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification or Licensing Preferred: Food Safety

Job Responsibilities
- Maintain safety as the top priority for Team Members, customers, and products.
- Exceed customer and Team Member needs by providing safe, efficient, accurate, and pleasant food service, along with guidance and coaching to Team Members and exemplary service to vendors and stakeholders.
- Cultivate a fast, friendly culture by sharing warmth and passion for service with a smile with all Team Members and customers.
- Assist management in achieving sales and profit goals by encouraging sampling and suggesting, while managing shrink.
- Monitor quality control in the kitchen and during food and supply ordering.
- Maintain flexibility in scheduling by ensuring all Team Members are cross-trained on all positions.
- Be adaptable, leading the kitchen team at one moment and stepping in as a GoGetter at the next.
- Ensure restrooms are always clean and well-stocked.
- Monitor competitor fuel pricing and collaborate with business partners to stay competitive.
- Address equipment issues promptly.
- Ensure Team Members have access to proper training and resources.
- Provide training and leadership to hourly Team Members and peer Leads when assigned.
- Supervise product merchandising and safety compliance, ensuring equipment passes safety audits and Team Members are certified in food safety.
- Set and promote sales and performance goals, providing tools to achieve them.
- Identify team strengths and opportunities, and make strategic scheduling decisions.
- Nurture an inclusive and diverse environment, respecting each Team Member's voice.
