Job summary

Crescent Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Kitchen & Laundry Mechanic to maintain and repair commercial kitchen and laundry equipment, ensuring safety and reliability across hotel operations. You will diagnose failures, perform preventive maintenance, and coordinate with Engineering for specialized services, while supporting other hotel departments as needed.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in similar roles, strong mechanical and electrical skills, and experience with kitchen and laundry systems.

Qualifications

• Technical/vocational or trade school training in mechanical or electrical systems, commercial appliance repair, HVAC/R, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience repairing and maintaining commercial kitchen and/or laundry equipment preferred.
• Experience in hotel, restaurant, hospital, or commercial facility maintenance preferred.
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems.
• Experience with commercial refrigeration, gas equipment, steam systems, plumbing and electrical controls preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair commercial kitchen equipment (ovens, ranges, fryers, etc.).
• Inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair laundry equipment (washers, dryers, extractors, irons, presses).
• Perform preventive maintenance and document repairs and parts used.
• Coordinate with Engineering leadership for vendor services and urgent repairs.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and assist with general hotel maintenance when needed.
