Job summary

Smart Care is a national repair and service provider for commercial foodservice equipment. As a Service Technician, you will become a trusted advisor to customers by delivering innovative solutions to predict and prevent kitchen equipment failure, serving restaurants, hotels, hospitals, and other commercial clients.

You will partner with managers to service cooking, refrigeration, warewashing and related equipment; demonstrate mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills; and participate in

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 1 year of technical experience with refrigeration, appliance repair, kitchen equipment, HVAC, or related fields.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Willingness to participate in emergency on-call rotation including nights and weekends.
• Occasional overnight travel as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Partner with restaurant and hospitality managers to service commercial cooking, refrigeration, warewashing, and related equipment.
• Demonstrate mechanical aptitude and the ability to read diagrams and schematics.
