Silco Fire & Security in Akron, OH is seeking a licensed Kitchen Suppression Technician to inspect, maintain and repair commercial kitchen fire suppression systems. The role includes training to obtain all required state certifications if not already held, and opportunities to advance within a growing, employee‑owned Midwest company.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test kitchen suppression systems for safety and compliance.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on kitchen suppression systems and related equipment.
• Diagnose issues and implement effective solutions to restore function.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections and maintenance activities.
• Communicate with customers and provide technical assistance.
• Complete required state certification exams after training.
