Job summary

Summit Fire & Security is seeking a Kitchen Fire Suppression System Technician to install, inspect, service and repair kitchen suppression systems with minimal supervision. The role emphasizes NFPA code compliance and safe operation of equipment in commercial kitchens.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
• State or any required certification.
• 2 Fire Life Safety Industry experience specifically within Fire Suppression.
• 2 years of professional computer skills.
• Must read, write and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, service and repair kitchen fire suppression systems.
• Repair or replace components of pre-engineered suppression systems.
• Use required tools and test equipment to service equipment.
• Maintain compliance with NFPA codes and standards.
• Document work orders and communicate with customers professionally.
• Adhere to safety programs and complete projects on schedule.
