Silco Fire & Security is seeking a skilled Kitchen Suppression Technician to inspect, maintain, and repair kitchen fire suppression systems in commercial kitchens. Training is provided for required certifications, and the role offers a path to state licensing while supporting safety compliance.

On-site position in Cleveland, OH with a focus on testing, diagnostics, and customer service to ensure reliable protection for client kitchens.

Qualifications

• Experience reading technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Familiarity with kitchen suppression systems (wet chemical, dry chemical, pre-engineered) preferred but not required.
• Excellent troubleshooting and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test kitchen suppression systems for functionality and code compliance.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on suppression systems, including emergency lighting and portable extinguishers.
• Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and restore system functionality.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, maintenance, and repairs.
• Communicate effectively with customers and provide technical assistance.
