Job summary

Elite Fire Services LLC in Columbus, OH is seeking a reliable Fire Extinguisher & Kitchen Fire Suppression Technician to inspect, service, install, and maintain commercial kitchen fire suppression systems and portable extinguishers. The role requires experience in fire protection or a mechanical/technical background and comfort working in kitchens and commercial environments.

Qualifications

Experience with kitchen fire suppression systems and extinguishers.
Knowledge of NFPA 10 and NFPA 17A.
Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Valid driver's license with clean record.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders.
Strong attention to detail and organization.
Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Inspect, service, and maintain commercial kitchen fire suppression systems.
Inspect, test, maintain, and recharge portable extinguishers.
Install new fire suppression systems and extinguishers.
Ensure compliance with NFPA codes and local fire regulations.
Maintain accurate service reports and inspection documentation.
Diagnose and repair system deficiencies.
Communicate with customers about conditions, repairs, and compliance requirements.
Maintain service vehicle, tools, equipment.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
